Foxley Books is an independent imprint founded by the German publisher Joachim von Halasz. It is based in London and publishes primary source material to facilitate the study the history of art, architecture, cartoons, propaganda and travel. Facsimile reprints of key works are accompanied by introductory essays and translations.



Art
In 1937 two important art exhibitions were staged in Munich. The 'Degenerate' Art Exhibition was based at the Hofgarten and the Great German Art Exhibition at the House of German Art.

Architecture
The two volumes about buildings in the Third Reich are the first publications in this section.

Cartoons
The Truffle Eater is the first Anti Hitler Cartoon in a series of cartoons to be published.

Foxley
In 1944 British Intelligence planned Operation Foxley - the plan to kill Hitler. It is the inspiration for Foxley Books.

Propaganda
The Right Club membership list is the first title in the propaganda series.

Sport
The Olympic Winter and Summer Games 1936 in two volumes.

Travel
Several travel titles are now available covering Germany, Berlin and Munich.
